About our Senior Center
Our mission is to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of older adults by providing opportunities for social connections, physical activities and lifelong learning events.

Enriching Lives in our Community
The Grass Lake Senior Center serves
people 40 years old and better.
Located at 373 Lakeside Drive, Grass Lake, in the Grass Lake Township building, we are currently 244 members strong and growing- since March of 2015.
We're here 5 days a week including some evenings. Check us out! You’ll surely find something you like.

Our Executive Director and Board of Directors
Christie Lypka
I have worked in the nonprofit sector for thirty years as a child advocate. I have experience as a nonprofit executive director including fund development, strategic planning, grant writing, and implementing capital campaigns. I am also the author of a young adult book, and I have been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul. I am currently working on a true crime book.

I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 20 years. Together we have three children, five grandchildren, with one more on the way. Our family also includes Lincoln, our big, goofy Coonhound who keeps life interesting.

I am excited to move the Grass Lake Senior Center into its next chapter while serving our Seniors in the community.
